Weaknesses in the management structure, insufficient citizen participation, lack of transparency in decision-making, inequitable distribution of services, and declining resilience against urban crises necessitate special attention to the enhancement of good urban governance. This study was conducted with the aim of explaining the relationship between good urban governance components and urban resilience in the Mikaielabad neighborhood of Maragheh. The research method was applied in nature with a deductive approach and a survey strategy, conducted within a cross-sectional time horizon. The statistical population included all adult residents of the Mikaielabad neighborhood, and a sample size of 373 individuals was selected through simple random sampling. The data collection instrument was a researcher-developed questionnaire, the validity of which was confirmed through expert opinion and the calculation of the Average Variance Extracted (AVE), while its reliability was established through Cronbach's alpha coefficient and composite reliability. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings indicated that there is a positive and significant relationship between the components of good urban governance—including transparency, accountability, citizen participation, justice-orientation, rule of law, responsibility, consensus-orientation, and effectiveness—and urban resilience. Justice-orientation was identified as having the highest impact coefficient, while accountability had the lowest impact coefficient on good urban governance. Good urban governance also had a positive and significant effect on urban resilience. Based on the findings, enhancing good governance in the Mikaielabad neighborhood requires special attention to increasing citizen participation, improving accountability systems, strengthening transparency in urban decision-making, and ensuring the equitable distribution of services.
