Biophilic architecture refers to the use of natural elements in the design and construction of buildings and urban spaces. One of the most important benefits of integrating the natural environment with built structures is the enhancement of mental and psychological health and the reduction of stress. The present study aims to evaluate the impact of biophilic architecture and its role in the environmental graphics of Kermanshah Mountain Park on the mental health of visitors. Accordingly, four main indicators and influential components affecting individuals' mental health were identified. The statistical population of the present study consisted of visitors to Kermanshah Mountain Park, and the sample size was calculated as 384 individuals based on Cochran's formula. A questionnaire was designed according to the identified indicators and distributed randomly among individuals. To analyze the quantitative data, SPSS software and statistical tests including the Friedman test and T-test were employed. According to the obtained results, among the four indicators—"natural elements," "the nature of space and place," "spirituality," and "psychological comfort"—the indicators of psychological comfort, the nature of space and place, and spirituality were in a favorable condition and exerted a positive influence on the mental health of visitors. Only the indicator of natural elements did not reach the acceptable threshold and had the least impact on the mental health of visitors. On the other hand, according to the visitors, components such as visual connection with nature, the presence of water, a sense of refuge, liberation from a sense of emptiness, stress reduction, and spaces for pause and reflection received the lowest rankings among the 17 components, based on which corresponding solutions were proposed.
